In order to enhance our curriculum, children in all age phases across school participate in educational visits each academic year. This can range from a trip to Alnwick Gardens to a day out at The Centre for Life. These visits are intended to bring classroom learning to life with opportunities to consolidate, extend and apply knowledge and skills.

To ensure that these trips are accessible for all, our Friends of Swansfield Park regularly subsidise costs for all families. In addition to this, Pupil Premium funding is allocated to pay full costs for children in receipt of this full grant (this does not include Forces Pupil Premium).
